Bergen County also hosts many events and festivals that showcase its arts, culture, and cuisine, such as the Ridgewood Art Institute Annual Juried Show, the Teaneck International Film Festival, and the New Jersey State Fair at the Meadowlands.

Bergen County is a great place for families to call home. The county offers a lot of attractions and activities that are family-friendly and cater to all ages. There are a number of major highways in Bergen County including Rts 4, 80, and 287, the Garden State Parkway and New Jersey Turnpike among others, as theall pass through the county providing easy access to points east, west, north and south. There are also several train stations and bus lines in the county which provide service to New York City.
